Late Policy
Running Late? Call us as soon as you know you are running late to provide us with an ETA.
Arrival time is counted as soon as you walk into our salon.
Less than 10 minutes late:
Call us and provide us with an ETA
Tardiness will be noted and taken into consideration when booking future appointments.
Once 3 tardy arrivals have been reached, future tardiness under 10 minutes will be assessed a late fee of $1/min.
10-15 minutes late:
Call us and provide us with an ETA
We will fit your dog in with a 25% late fee so you can avoid a no-show.
Late arrivals cause gaps in our schedule, leaving us without a dog to work on until they arrive.
When a late arrival gets too close to our next timely arrival, our groomers experience an uneven workflow that causes us to fall behind on the rest of the grooms for the day, increasing grooming times and causing delays on pick up times for the next pets waiting to go home.
More than 16 minutes late/No-Show:
Call us and let us know you need to cancel since you won’t be able to make it within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time.
Your appointment will be canceled as a no-show since we are unable to make up for the loss from the waitlist with less than 24 hours notice. We offer one free no-show per client.
Be prepared to pay the full amount of any no-show grooms canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time. Have your card ready for paying over the phone.
Two no-show cancellations will automatically add you to our list of prepay-only clients. As a courtesy to our respected groomers, Scruff to Fluff will not reschedule or book any new appointments for prepay-only clients without first receiving payment.
